Asheboro: Fall Festival

For two days, Asheboro’s downtown area was closed to traffic and filled to the brim with visitors.  The festival was originally conceived as a traditional crafts show held at Randolph Community College and then became a general festival as it grew in size and attendance.

A beauty pageant for cows was one of the festival’s attractions.

Asheboro’s Central Community Church had a tent set up offering face-painting.
