Last weekend I traveled to the mountain town of Tryon to cover the April Fools’ Day Festival. Looking for something unusual and quirky, I was not disappointed. There was a racing of outhouses and a fashion show utilizing trash and recycled items.
This girl was the winner of the “under 12” contest category, utilizing garbage and shopping bags.
